2 oz Kraken® Gold Spiced Rum
0.25 oz Simple Syrup
3 Dashes Chocolate Bitters
3 Dashes Orange Bitters
1 piece Maple Wood
1 Orange Peel
A ritual of fire and shadow, summon the Kraken with smoke and spice. This Old Fashioned calls to those who dare, blending dark sweetness with a whisper of the deep, finishing with notes of chocolate and vanilla like The Beast’s final sigh.
Light the wooden maple piece aflame, then blow it out. While still smoking, place on a heat-safe plate, then cover with your rocks glass. Leave the glass to fill with smoke until you are ready to serve. In a mixing glass, place Kraken Gold Spiced Rum, Simple Syrup, and bitters. Stir with ice until chilled. Fill your rocks glass with fresh ice and strain drink into your glass. Garnish with an orange peel.
